It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if we do, we know we can do it."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this championship should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
